Friday5: Summertime

1. When grilling, what type of grill do you prefer? Gas, charcoal, etc...
2. Are you planing any vacations this summer?
3. Do you tan or burn?
4. what's your favorite summer pastime?
5. Show us a beach.

1. Prefer charcoal..but its easier to use gas/propane
2. I always plan them....heh
3. I burn then tan
4. Last summer I was all about the pool...not so much this summer...but still probably my favorite
5. *sigh* wish I had some of my personal Outer Banks beach pics here at work....so somebody else's pic of Jockey's Ridge will have to do.  Jockey's Ridge is a big (used to be huge) sand dune in Nags Head....so big you can hang glide off it (something I'll never do since my mom's best friend when I was a kid broke her back trying it out). It such a cool place, though...esp. as a kid. We took a 6th grade school trip there and it was amazing...plus when you got to the top the wind was blowing so hard...the sand stung your ankles. Very cool to a 6th grader!  My memory is foggy but sometimes (depending on the wind) you'll see parts of an old putt putt course pop up...esp. the castle.
