Guess I should say one of my current obsessions...
Heard about this last week(?) when some blog or other mentioned the band would be on Jimmy Kimmel.
It's a fake documentary following The All For Nots as they head out on the road for their first tour.
I've tried most of the blogged about web series but never felt they lived up to their hype...and maybe that's why I'm loving this one so much...other than the Kimmel mention, this show escaped my radar....I'm also loving it because its actually funny (least to me) and the music is actually pretty good.
Seems they post an eppy every week. The "A" ep seems to be the main one with B and C being mini eps. Haven't hunted down the Kimmel appearance....figure I'll do that once I'm caught up.
I know its hard to gage something by just an eppy but here's the first...and if you like...head over to The All for Nots to play catch up...and/or...you can subscribe to it via iTunes. (although it seems to have stopped updating in May?)

Skreemer - I've only done a few searches but have been very impressed with the results...
Just head to the link above and starting searching....it'll come back with blog results...
Yeah...The Hype Machine is still my first choice...but Skreemer seems to find things that the HM just doesn't have...so Skreemer will be added to my Bookmark bar soon as I get home (right beside The HM and Sonicx)
...and who knows....there may be a ton of other great music search sites...I just happened upon this one after seeing it listed at Simple Spark....which is a great catalog of web applications sorted by different genres/categories. And not a bad time waster, either. :)
